Context

Off-the-shelf booking platforms make sense for chains. They make less sense for an independent shop with a small team, loyal regulars, and a way of doing things that has worked for years. Macavelli wanted booking software that bent around their workflow, not the other way around.

What we built

Two surfaces, one system. A clean, fast public site for clients to book online. Behind it, a complete admin suite that lets the team run the entire day from one place. We started by sitting with the team and watching how appointments actually flow. Then we designed each screen around real moments. A regular re-booking on the way out. A walk-in fitting into a gap. A quiet hour used to plan the week.

Outcome

macavelli1960.com is in production and used daily. The shop spends less time on admin and more time with clients. Behind the scenes, we ship updates as the team's needs change.

Why this matters to us

Most of the world's businesses are not tech companies. We think they deserve software that's as carefully built as anything that ships in Silicon Valley.
